Auxano Aero Club Benin City is a non-profit flying club providing access, affordability, camaraderie, mentorship, training, education, and a shared passion in General Aviation.   

Members of our flying club come from all walks of life and exhibit varied levels of experience in aviation. 

Representatives from every group, from students to airline transport pilots, ex-military pilots to high-time general aviation flight instructors, as well as people of all ages, make up a typical flying club. Camaraderie between members is important in all flying clubs, as the more time members spend together, the more cohesive the club becomes. For this reason, we hold regular social events. 

Safety is of paramount priority for our club. We hold regular safety meetings during which members can discuss any relevant safety matters pertaining to the club’s current operations. The club manager is also the designated Safety Officer whose role is to promote a safety culture within the club and to ensure that club operations are performed in adherence to strong safety standards. 

We strive to achieve the highest standards of structure, operation, and governance, and our club is run with diligence and professionalism. The financial decisions of the club reflect the best interests of all our members and always made with an eye towards ensuring adequate aircraft availability at fair, reasonable rates.

No.  However, our members who are not yet rated pilots can learn to fly in the clubs aircraft.  Certified flight instructors will give instruction, perform check rides, and give biannual flight reviews to our members through our affiliation with Private Flyers Academy.

HOW DO I JOIN?

If you are interested in joining, the first step is to contact our club manager and membership coordinator and set up an appointment where you will be given all of the necessary information and paperwork to complete @ 0915-808-0216
